Now is the time for all good things to come to the aid of their country

Donald Leewas born in the deep south of America but soon experienced life as an expat, first in Mexico City and later in Okinawa and then Seoul, South Korea. He movedback to the States and spent most of his childhood in the southern states ofAlabama, North Carolina, and Texas. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from TexasA&M with a degree in Genetic Engineering, he took up a summer job as atechno-grunt in Houston where he taught himself programming and database designfrom the local bookstore while drinking Starbucks coffee.

After a few years ofhoning his skills he next went to work at the corporate headquarters ofContinental Airlines where he had the privilege of traveling to a differentcountry nearly every month for free. Later, the Senior Director of the AdvancedTechnology Team became vice-president of a dot-com in Silicon Valley andconvinced Donald to join him in the dot-com gold rush. On his first day in hisnew job, the CEO announced that the company just ran out of gas and wasshutting it's doors - only 90 minutes into his first day. Fortunately this wasthe peak of the dot com boom and jobs were plenty. He later went to work forpetopia.com (who's business model was to sell 50 lb bags of dog food to single, high income, urban women over 40 - ultimately went bust), Microsoft ConsultingServices at one of their highest profile client - the Gap, and Gilead Scienceson the Cheminformatics team where he worked with an incredibly smart team ofmulti PhD research scientists in drug development against HIV/AIDS.DNA sequencing in the lab
